Client Services Intern

McBru is offering a three-month paid internship to support our agency client teams while staffing our front desk. This role includes active engagement in client social media programs in addition to broad support for advertising, influencer relations and creative work, as well as administrative, reception and office support duties. This position is an ideal fit for a recent college graduate or someone early in his/her career with a degree in marketing, PR or a communications-related discipline. There is a distinct possibility that the internship will lead to a full-time position in the future. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Account Support

  • Support and implement agency best practices across day-to-day client services operations
  • Provide primary research for advertising, influencer relations and social media programs
  • Schedule and prepare materials for client and internal team meetings
  • Contribute to tracking documents and client-facing materials
  • Community management support for client social media programs
  • Research and monitoring for online conversations and influencer communities
  • Support reporting and analytics tracking for social media, influencer relations and advertising programs
  • Post client and agency news announcements via wire services and other portals
  • Support agency sales and marketing efforts as needed

Front Desk

  • Answer incoming calls for office of 15
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and parcels
  • Oversee meeting rooms and kitchen facilities
  • Prepare facilities and provide hospitality for visitors to the agency
  • Local errands and other administrative and support duties as required

The Intern position requires solid organizational, writing and Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with common social media platforms and analytics platforms is desirable. The duties of the position may call for occasional off-site errands, and require an insured and licensed driver with his or her own vehicle.
